The company is promoted by an Ex-NRI and senior Food Technologist, Mr. P.C. Mahnot having rice & vast experience in the field of nutritional food production and installation of manufacturing plants. Mr. Mahnot started his career as Technical Officer with M/s 'Amul', Anand, India and served for 12 years. Thereafter he remained abroad for a decade in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Kenya and South Africa for setting-up Supplementary Nutrition Food manufacturing plants in these countries. Mr. Mahnot decided to return to his home country India and promoted JVS FOODS PVT. LTD. in the year 1995 at Jaipur.
JVS is one of the largest producers of Institutional Foods in the state of Rajasthan. JVS is catering to the requirements of United Nations Food Aid Agency, World Food Programme, in India, and in neighboring countries too. JVS products are also supplied to State Nodal Departments like Women & Child Development Department for distribution to beneficiaries of the Central Government approved Integrated Child Development Services Scheme (ICDS), Pradhan Mantri Gramodaya Yojana (PMGY) and Mid-Day-Meals (MDM) etc. JVS has a fully computerized unit and is professionally managed with the facilitation of a dozen food technologists and half a dozen engineers, who are consistently taking care of the production, product development, quality control and industrial consultancy. It is a broad-based company having units and joint ventures in all the major states of the country.
